Assistive Technology for Speech & Hearing
The
Conversor FM Wireless Assistive Listening Device
The Conversor is the perfect hearing companion for anyone with a hearing difficulty. It is designed for easy use with Telecoil-equipped hearing aids, cochlear implants, and binaural headphones.
The Conversor focuses on desired sounds, near or far away, filtering out unwanted background noise up to 30 db, and greatly enhancing sound level and clarity. By removing background noise, the desired sound is much clearer and more intelligible, even in noisy environments. And by increasing the available sound level, less strain is placed on hearing aid amplifiers, eliminating distortion and feedback.
The Conversor is designed like a discreet miniature radio microphone system with a separate neck loop receiver that transmits sounds to the hearing aid. The powerful Microphone can be hand-held or worn by the speaker around the neck or placed on a surface close by.
With The Conversor, users can now take a more active part in everyday listening situations, without the frustration of not hearing properly. It enables easy listening and relaxed conversation anywhere users happen to be - whether in the classroom or office, at social gatherings, driving in the car, out shopping, or at home.
With optional accessories, it can also be connected directly to a TV, stereo, VCR/DVD/CD player, or computer, for enhanced hearing enjoyment.
The
Conversor Multipack
The Multipack addresses the needs of multiple hearing aid wearers in classroom, lecture and meeting room settings, providing them front-row sound level and clarity up to 25 metres away from the speaker.
The MultiPack includes two Conversor FM Microphone / Transmitters and eight Conversor Pendant Receivers. Each transmitter can be used with multiple receivers, which are set to the same frequency. All 10 units can be charged within the robust carrying case, thus eliminating the need for additional charger units.

It can be connected directly to the radio, stereo/ HIFI, computer, or MP3 player with the jack-to-jack cable conveniently provided with the unit or also to a television, DVD and video players, or to Cable TV boxes using the optional TV Scart Adaptor Cable that is sold separately.

The Listenor
The Listenor is a powerful lightweight microphone that provides greatly enhanced sound level and quality for individuals with slight hearing difficulty, but who do not wear a hearing aid.

The Listenor can be placed in a raised position on a nearby surface using the convenient fold-out stand, or held in the user's hand, and pointed at the source of sound. The unit's headphones feature a built-in volume control to allow users to listen comfortably to television, radio, stereo and other audio devices, as well as for relaxed conversation at home or away.
